INACTIVE FOR A YEAR

Hello friends and distinguished readers, I greet you from my hearts for your readership, it is really of great importance to me 9being a writer, you sure need a reader).

Today, 11th day of the 11th month in the year 2019, happens to be exactly one year since my lost post. One Year.

One year of inactiveness, One year of lost of writing passion, One year of breaking the pen. However, today, I got a new pen, I have picked up my writing passion and going to be very active.

Top 25 Words NigeriansCommonly Mispronounce

Some weeks back we started some articles aimed at exposing 25 Commonly mispronounced words. Here is the concluding part  16. Curse/cause/course. Many Nigerians have a hard time distinctly pronouncing the words “cause,” “course,” and “curse.” They are all pronounced “kos.” British English speakers pronounce “curse” like “kes,” except that the “e” sound (which is kind of like the “e” sound in “met”) is long. Americans pronounce it “keRs,” also with a long “e” sound. “Cause” is pronounced “koz” with a short “o” sound (which is close to the “o” sound in “all”), and “course” is pronounced “kos” with a long “o” sound.
