ROYAL RANGERS DAY 2014 (NIGERIA)

The Royal Rangers Nigeria is a Para-military arm of the Assemblies of God, Nigeria, which is dully registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission of Nigeria and also affiliated with the National Youth Council of Nigeria, the umbrella body of all Voluntary Youth Organizations in the Country. The primary air of the organization is to preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ with a view to winning souls for His Kingdom through interesting programs that youths enjoy. Other aims of the organization include:
1. To organize educational programs that will foster healthy development among the youth.
2. To combat the spread of cultism, drug abuse and other social vices.
3. To engage in skill acquisition programs in order to make the youths self-reliant.

Our Objectives:

1. To instruct in Bible doctrine.
2. To challenge for Christian service.
3. To identify, protect and develop the talents, skills and areas of interest of our youths.
4. To organize seminars, workshops, leadership retreats, for members and other youth of the society.
5. To organize Camp Meetings for members.
6. To visit Primary, Secondary schools, Motor parks for the purpose of instilling truth in the youths about the values of education, hence discouraging drop-outs from schools and youth restiveness.
7. To instill the spirit of patriotism in our youths.
8. To encourage in humanitarian and social services.
9. To promote good discipline in the society.
10. Assist Government in any activity where our services are needed, particularly in the areas of security, traffic control and environmental sanitation exercises.
11. To help both youth and adults recognize the great Jehovah as their true God.

I enjoyed myself as I watched members of the corp do their "thing"; Parade, drama and other varieties.
