Kate Henshaw: Actress Releases Campaign Poster

If all our Nollywood Stars now runs under Umbrellas or hold firms to brooms in the name of politics, soon our Movie/film locations will be in Government house.

Nollywood actress, Kate Henshaw, is surely getting serious with her electioneering campaign.

Nollywood actress, Kate Offiong Henshaw, has decided to take her electioneering campaign a step further by releasing her posters to convince any doubting Thomas that she is actually set to take the plunge into the political waters.
The Henshaw Town, Calabar, Cross River State born actress, is one of the first entertainers to declare an interest in contesting in the forthcoming elections in 2015.
Kate is gunning for a seat to represent the the Calabar Municipal/Odukpani Federal Constituency in the Federal House of Representatives, on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.
The actress has for comfort her colleagues like Desmond Elliot, Kenneth Okonkwo, Bob Manuel-Udokwu, Julius Agwu and other entertainers like Kenny Saint Brown, Tony Tetuila and 9ice, among others who are all gunning for different positions in the elections next year.

Some weeks back we started some articles aimed at exposing 25 Commonly mispronounced words. Here is the concluding part  16. Curse/cause/course. Many Nigerians have a hard time distinctly pronouncing the words “cause,” “course,” and “curse.” They are all pronounced “kos.” British English speakers pronounce “curse” like “kes,” except that the “e” sound (which is kind of like the “e” sound in “met”) is long. Americans pronounce it “keRs,” also with a long “e” sound. “Cause” is pronounced “koz” with a short “o” sound (which is close to the “o” sound in “all”), and “course” is pronounced “kos” with a long “o” sound.
